Where do donations go?

Sponsor a Pony

For just $40 a month you can help provide care for one of our Ponies.

We have many Ponies and Horses in care that are part of our sponsorship program. Sponsorship helps towards their ongoing care, including feed, dentist visits, podiatrist/farrier trims and vet bills.

You are welcome to visit and interact with your sponsored pony for the duration of your sponsorship (via appointment, subject to COVID restrictions). Some will enjoy being brushed while others may just like some company.

How sponsorship works

Adopt a Pony

If you can provide a suitable and loving home for one or more Ponies we would love to hear from you.

Our Horses and Ponies have mixed backgrounds, and may require additional care. We work extensively with each animal to meet their individual needs and bring them back to health.

If you would like to be considered for adoption, click through to read more about our requirements and submit an application.

Volunteer

Pakenham Pony Rescue (Not for Profit) Organisation is completly run by volunteers. We welcome volunteers of all skill levels, aged 14 and above. Younger volunteers may attend if accompanied by an adult guardian.

We work around the times that suit our volunteers. Some volunteers come out once or twice a week. Some volunteers come out fortnightly or monthly.

We endeavour to match tasks with what volunteers are comfortable with and capable of.

If you are interested in volunteering please call or email us to discuss further.
